The Organizational Behavior Of An Organization Essay

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the organizational behavior of an organization. I will be analyzing and evaluating Crown Iron Works and providing recommendations of my findings. The success of an organization depends on its organization behavior which is the study of people, what people feel, think, and do in a company. (Elsbach, Kayes Kayes, 2015). Organizational Behavior is important to help organizations become more successful and efficient in running the company and adapting to changes. This will also help to achieve goals in many different areas such as communication, leadership and motivation to a team. Organizational Behavior The organization I chose is Crown Iron Works. Crown Iron Works has been around since 1878 and was a black smith shop. Beginning as a heavy metals fabrication company and transforming into what it is today a process engineering firm. Crown Iron Works has many locations throughout the world which are Germany, China, Brazil, and Argentina. They are a global supplier of oilseed extraction technology and equipment. (Crown Iron Works, n.d.). They provide support on a project from start to finish and use innovation, education, service and will offer support in accordance to company’s policy to meet their customer’s needs. The play â€Å"A Doll’s House† by Henrik Ibsen, makes several impressions about the perceptions of society and how women roles were defined during that time. This play also shows how gender status was at the time. The role of women was quite clear in this play. Nora’s behavior, like most women during that time, was to give into anything her husband said and obey his orders. In the beginning of the play, Nora was shown as a childish and naive housewife with a skill for spending money, and had a â€Å"parent-child† relationship with her husband. Her husband insulted her many times and even accused her of having too many sweets and gaining weight. Women were not considered as equal with men, either in relation to their husbands or the society. Women could not cond uct business or control their own money, for which they need the authorization of the man who is portrayed as the owner of women. Nora must hide the fact that she received a loan from Krogstad, even though it was to save Tovald’s life, because she knows he would never accept the idea that his wife, a woman, had helped save his life. With the arrival of Mrs. Linden, an old school friend, Nora finally has someone to talk to and hang out with. She finds herself able to be fully honest and confide in with Mrs. Linden. Nora requests, on Mrs. Lindens behalf, that Torvald hires her which indicates an ongoing change in her attitude. With Nora’s deception and the perceptions of society, she is susceptible to blackmail. Krogstad has an advantage over Nora, and threatens to reveal her fraudulent signature on the bond to everyone if Tovald fires him.
